Library News: Myrriah and Jorah Lavin have donated "Weekend Knitting" by Melanie Falick, and "Lace Style" by Pam Allen and Ann Budd. Pat Blackwell has donated $20, and Ann Geddie has given us the book "Tat's Where I Stopped: A Year of Tatted Bookmarks" by Nancy P. Tracy. The Guild has purchased the DVD "Flanders Lace with Sally Schoenberg" for the library. Thank you to Susan Wenzel for a discount on the DVD. June 22 - 28, 2008: Lace at Sweet Briar College in central Virginia (fifteen minutes from Lynchburg). This is a week-long retreat with four teachers; Michael Guisiana for Binche, Susan Wenzel for s'Gravenmoer and vending, Betsy Laundon for knitting, and Bobbi Donnelly for Tonder. The Sweet Briar Museum hosts the Connin Barber lace collection which will be exhibited. Contact Clay Blackwell for more information.

Let Sumi know ASAP of any demonstrating you might have done that can count for Golden Bobbins. We have been asked to turn that report in a bit earlier than usual. Hours, location, date, travel time and set up time also. IOLI needs to show they are a volunteer group in order to retain a tax exempt status.
All Golden Bobbins meeting will alternate between Ann's house in Huntersville and Sumi's house in the South Park area of Charlotte. Bring your lunch and any work to show. Email Sumi Tray for information and directions.

All of the current NCRL officers, except Mary Alexion (treasurer), have agreed to run again for their office in the fall. Come to the Fall Lace Day in Charlotte to vote.
