Strip lace produced by Pat Blackwell on a custom made replica French 'Clermont-Ferrand' bolster pillow. It was made by a lovely couple in Alabama. Although unseen in this picture, there is a small drawer in the front of the pillow frame holding spare bobbins, as well as a pair of Belgian bobbins which were actually used in France and included with the pillow by the makers.

A big fan of linen, and white linen has become her thread of choice in recent years.
