It is fun - and I go home exhausted. Typically I never move from my chair (well padded) and never get around to actually eating the lunch that I always bring . As long as someone is willing to listen, I'm willing to talk. The usual reactions are "that's a lot of bobbins", "how do you know where you are", or "how do you know what to do next"? I always demonstrate with a very open pattern utilizing as few pins as possible so visitors can get a better view of the work. Most find it hard to believe that fifty-six bobbins (twenty-eight pairs) are not considered to be very many.
