This is the lace that is being worked on the flatter bolster pillow. I wish that I could honestly say that the irregular edges are due to my poor photography, but unfortunately I do have issues with maintaining even tension and sometimes do not place my pins precisely. I blame it all on demonstrating and the need to talk to people while working as being more important than tension and pins - partially true, and a convenient excuse.
I like the openness of this pattern because it gives more people when there's a large crowd, as on Sunday, the opportunity to see both the lace and the pricking. This helps people better understand the process and the different things to watch for as the work progresses.
